In collaboration with Rotary club of Tripoli, Dr. Michel
Jazzar, Rotary International representative to UN-ESCWA had a lecture on 25/02/2014 at Union Sportive –
Tripoli, titled: “Rotary Scholarships, A new world might be waiting for you”.
Members of Rotary club of Tripoli Maarad and Rotary club of
Mina, university teachers and graduates were among the attendees.
The lecture was about Rotary International scholarships concerning
water and peace issues.
Dr. Jazzar explained the
relation between UNESCO-IHE and Rotary International and also the role of
Rotatry peace center.
He emphasized on the nature of scholarships, majors
interest, conditions and how to submit applications.
